Wholesale Ceylon Cinnamon — Direct Export from Sri Lanka

CeyQuills (operated by Aurax (Pvt) Ltd) is an officially registered spice exporter with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB). We source, grade, and ship premium hand-rolled Cinnamomum verum quills direct from the southern estates.

Available grades and specifications

We supply the complete SLS 81:2021 spectrum of whole quills, packaged to preserve the delicate aroma oils:

  • Alba Grade (≤6mm): The thinnest, visual masterpiece. Exquisite sweet, citrus notes.
  • C5 Special (6–7mm) & C5 (7–9mm): High-demand, slender Continental grades.
  • C4 Grade (9–11mm): Sturdy quills, excellent value workhorse for packaging and distribution.
  • M4 Grade (13–20mm): Coarser, spicy bark preferred in Mexican and Latin American markets.
  • H1 Grade (16–25mm): Thick, highly aromatic quills with high oil yield for distillation or milling.

Minimum order quantities

Our crop is packed to order in Colombo. We support LCL (Less than Container Load) and FCL (Full Container Load) shipments:

  • Air Cargo MOQ: 50 kg (packed in standard 1kg/5kg B2B carton boxes)
  • Sea Freight MOQ: 500 kg (packed in heavy-duty shipping crates or bales)

Pricing and terms

Wholesale prices are pegged to the weekly Colombo spice auctions and FOB Colombo shipping rates.

Delivery Terms: We quote FOB Colombo, or CIF/CFR to your designated port of entry. Staging, custom clearing, and phytosanitary certificates are handled by our dedicated Colombo logistics team.

Payment Methods: We accept 30% advance Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) with 70% balance paid on presentation of B/L, or irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight for large-volume contract orders.

Wholesale Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we offer sample packs of graded whole quills (typically 100g to 250g per grade) to verified spice importers and distributors. The sample sticks are provided free of charge, but international courier freight fees (DHL/FedEx) are paid by the recipient.
Our southern estates employ traditional agricultural methods. Every export consignment is screened and cleared under the Department of Agriculture guidelines. We can provide standard chemical profile certificates (eugenol content, moisture content under 15%, and heavy metal screening) upon request for custom bulk orders.
Whole Ceylon cinnamon quills are exported under the Harmonized System code HS 0906.11 (Cinnamon and cinnamon-tree flowers, not crushed or ground). Ground cinnamon is exported under HS 0906.20.
Due to local agricultural crop variations and shipping freight cost swings, our wholesale FOB Colombo price quotes are typically valid for 7 business days from issuance.
