By submitting an inquiry list or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. About us

CeyQuills is a premium trade brand of Aurax (Pvt) Ltd, a corporate entity incorporated and registered under the laws of Sri Lanka. We supply and export wholesale quantities of authentic Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) internationally.

2. Products and descriptions

We describe each cinnamon grade as accurately as our physical sourcing and hand-grading processes allow. True Ceylon cinnamon is a natural, hand-processed agricultural crop — minor natural variations in bark color, oil aroma, and quill diameter within a stated grade family are expected and do not constitute a defect. We state each product's SLS 81 grade, approximate outer diameter range, and harvest batch info.

We will never display a certification (EDB registration number, SLSI compliance certificates, USDA organic stamps, or Ceylon Cinnamon PGI logo) on this site that we do not currently hold. If our certification status changes, affected product listings will be corrected within 14 days.

3. Pricing and currency

Pricing and quotations are compiled dynamically on a case-by-case basis. If any prices are displayed, they are in USD unless otherwise specified. All commercial invoices exclude regional import duties, customs fees, VAT, port tariffs, or quarantine clearance charges — these are the sole responsibility of the importer (see §7).

4. Inquiries and contract formation

Submissions via our digital inquiry cart do not represent a final sale or purchase order. Submissions are requests for quotation (RFQs). A binding agreement is only established when a final Proforma Invoice is signed and payment terms are executed according to the agreed B2B contract documents.

5. Shipping and lead times

Lead times and freight requirements are detailed in our Shipping & Logistics Policy. In summary:

  • We are a direct-source estate exporter. Handling and customs packaging require longer processing times than standard retail operations.
  • We are not liable for delayed arrivals caused by local customs entry checks, port authority logistics bottlenecks, or carrier disruptions.

6. Food safety and intended use

Our products are food-grade agricultural spices intended for culinary and food-service applications. They are not medicines and we make no therapeutic claims. Information on this site reflects historical references and peer-reviewed scientific studies for general educational purposes and is not medical advice.

Allergens: Cinnamon is generally considered a low-allergen crop, but individual sensitivities exist. Please consult a qualified professional before introducing cinnamon into intensive nutraceutical regimes.

7. Import duties and customs — buyer's responsibility

Please read carefully before submitting an order or bulk invoice:

When a cargo shipment crosses international borders, local customs officials assess import duties, taxes, VAT, quarantine checks, or handling fees. These charges are:

  • The importer's sole liability and responsibility.
  • Unpredictable from our end, as tax rates and clearance requirements vary by country, shipment size, and HS code classifications.
  • For US Buyers specifically: As of February 2026, the US de minimis exemption has been eliminated. Every import, regardless of value, requires formal customs entry. A Sri Lanka-origin tariff currently applies. Actual tariff assessment is at the sole discretion of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

We will not under-declare values on commercial invoices or customs declarations under any circumstances. Under-declaration is a violation of both Sri Lankan export laws and international customs regulations.

8. Intellectual property

The CeyQuills brand name, logo, digital designs, and site content are owned by Aurax (Pvt) Ltd. You may not replicate, copy, or redistribute branding, graphics, or product photographs without written approval.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CeyQuills and Aurax (Pvt) Ltd are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental business losses arising from the use of this site or our products. Our maximum liability for any shipment is limited to the value of that specific invoice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes or contract arbitration will be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka, except where local consumer safety laws dictate otherwise.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms. The active version is always situated at ceyquills.com/terms-of-service.
